Locals observed large ice chunks measuring up to 7 centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts verified that multiple regions across the state had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.

State Emergency Services handled nearly 600 requests for assistance across the region, primarily for structural issues but also for collapsed vegetation and inundation.

During the peak on Sunday, over 28,000 power users in Victoria were lacking electricity.

Moist weather were predicted to continue along much of the state's eastern regions this next several days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.
The following day was expected to become the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent storm activity anticipated across various areas of both regions.
Health Warning
Health officials alerted that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the northern rural areas, specifically given the existing atmospheric conditions.
This alert comes after previous incidents where similar conditions led to substantial respiratory problems in the state.
